Brendon Fitzgerald

To the Residents & Business Owners of the City of Peekskill;

 

I am proud to have been asked to write a letter of character for Brendon M. Fitzgerald and his specific traits that I feel would be an asset to the City of Peekskill's Common Council.

I met him over 3 years ago at a Law Enforcement - Marine Corp support program I am involved with. His Uncle brought him to our annual BBQ - Car Cruise at my Hot Rod Hotel facility in Buchanan.

He handled himself with dignity and humility throughout the entire event. He displayed a certain sincerity and charisma that has led me to be an avid sponsor of his American Legion "Run/Walk For Heroes" Event for the last 3 years.

 

I have gotten to know him and his wife, Lindsay, on a personal level over the last few years and see his positive outlook on life, this Country and the future of Peekskill as contagious in the correct way for our 

millenial population that is steadily moving into this great City. Brendon's unique ability to communicate with the majority of people I have seen him encounter from all walks of life, impresses me for a man of his age.

 

 

I believe its imperative to the future of Peekskill that we continue to attract a younger generation to live and work in the area. I also believe that Brendon with his wisdom beyond his years and proven stakes in the City would be the perfect fit in the Democratic process of a Common Council.

 

I feel strongly that Brendon, if elected by the residents to serve on the Common Council, will participate with integrity & honesty similar to how he continues to serve his Country. He will support what is right for the future of the City, its residents & businesses above any personal or political agendas that may encounter.

 

We need more of this character quality in local politics.
