NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Since then, he has completed his Master’s degree in Organizational leadership and works at Con Edison as Work Organizer for Gas Work Management. Brendon plays an active role in several community organizations, including the Peekskill American Legion and the Westchester Marine Corps League, Peekskill Elks, and is a member of the Air National Guard at Stewart Air Force Base. He currently resides in Peekskill with his wife Lindsey Fitzgerald.
“I feel it’s my duty to serve my fellow citizens in Peekskill. My wife and I have become deeply embedded in this community and are committed to its wellbeing and long term growth. I know we share those same sentiments with many other residents and hope to work together to achieve the greatness we see for our community. We see the growth and progress that is taking place in the city and are excited by it. I will represent the interests of the community with integrity and honor to ensure the success of our future. With the right priorities and leadership in place we can further enhance the development of Peekskill into one that provides an even higher quality of life for all residents, safer streets, fiscal responsibility, and overall community sustainability. Allow me the privilege to represent this great city to protect the interests of our current and future residents.”

Why Brendon is Running
The reason I am running for Common Council is because of the unbelievable progress Mayor Frank Catalina, and his team Joe Torres and Vincent Vesce have formulated to bring the out of control deficit to a halt. The average deficit over the last six years has been three million dollars. The mayor and his team have already cut that in half. The Mayor has demonstrated time and time again that he keeps the best interest of our community at heart. The current fund balance is up to 650K dollars. The fund balance was at 11.6 Million dollars in 2007, and when the mayor took over the fund was 7,500 dollars and no I’m not missing a zero. Real leadership without personal agendas, new ideas, and sound decisions have been reintroduced to the City. Bringing Peekskill the first New Year’s Eve ball drop, closing streets to make room for dinners and bands on N. Division, and running the City during normal business hours are some of the inchoatives to encourage growth. The energy on the streets of Peekskill is apparent to all residents, and now is the time for the renaissance of Peekskill. Responsible development of our City is imperative. Watch the State of the City address from the Mayor and see what the plans are for our community. The time has come for serious leadership for the City of Peekskill, and the Mayor has brought together an amazing team. Tina Fischer has the financial knowledge from working in the Peekskill finance department for twelve years, Herbert Reyes, has been managing operation for one of the largest transportation companies in NYC, and his wife is the vice principle for the Peekskill High School. Together with the leadership of Frank Catalina, this team will set Peekskill on the path to greatness.
